The Fox River is where that work begins.
The work starts close to home, with places that can be returned to, watched over time, and understood in detail. Some of that knowledge comes from time outside. Some comes from maps, gauges, forecasts, historical records, research, and technical sources. The useful part is knowing how those pieces fit together. Other places may follow, but the approach stays the same: local knowledge, careful observation, and practical information for people who actually spend time there.
The Founder
Tyler Allison
Dive Otter Outfitters was founded by Tyler Allison, a longtime Fox River Valley resident, angler, paddler, Divemaster, and author.
Before Dive Otter Outfitters, Tyler founded AllisonHouse and spent nearly two decades working with real-time weather data. He is also the founder of Dive Otter and the author of The First Breath: An Honest Introduction to Recreational Scuba
